(photo March 2008)
These are no longer my main disks. After returning two shipments this year, i have finally obtained 3 new ones
(Seagate Barracuda LP : 4.3watts@5900RPM )
That moves me from
3x120GiB
NAME SIZE USED AVAIL CAP HEALTH ALTROOT
bathsheba 334G 323G 11.1G 96% DEGRADED -
to
3x1500GiB.
NAME SIZE USED AVAIL CAP HEALTH ALTROOT
njal 4.09T 353G 3.75T 8% ONLINE -
definitely a fan of RaidZ in ZFS
[Note: All disks are in RaidZ, so 1/n (where 'n' is the total number of disks in the pool)of my total storage is forfeited to to redundancy. This allows for one disk to fail without the loss of any data.]

Film shot in 2003 while i was on our church's winter retreat. i wish i had the right equipment to scan the negatives... This will have to do, as it's done for the past 6+ years. i like how these exposed when i opened my camera before rolling the film.

Shocking
i have some 170 images that i initially "published," (processed and showed privately to the students) on retreat. i've posted a handful on here, which in itself has become a very large task. Someday in the near future i hope to have a web gallery that will make this task so much easier, but in the mean time i have this.
What i'm trying to say is - i want to get on with this, to finish up these Fall Retreat shots and move to other shoots. So, i'm cutting you a few here, and letting the rest sit. Here i present you with the last* Fall Retreat 2009 thread.
